Sherlock Communications, a Public Relations and Digital Marketing agency focused on Latin America, is currently celebrating its recent win at the PRWeek Global Awards 2022 for Best Agency in LATAM. This is the third time that Sherlock Communications has won this award.
The awards, which took place on the 18th of May in London this year, followed two years of virtual award ceremonies and were selected by a board of 37 judges, all experts in their field. The ceremony intends to honour the best of the best in PR around the world, celebrating the achievements of communications professionals and providing the space for networking with other experts in the field.
Despite the tumultuous nature of the past few years, Sherlock Communication’s has been able to continue to grow, with the overall team growing 36% since the pandemic, and the SEO division, only created in 2020, seeing a 180% growth. Their specialist practice of blockchain, fintech and healthcare also saw significant growth, allowing for new client relationships across Latin America with companies such as Crypto.com, Sorare, and Dr Consulta.
Over the years, Sherlock Communications’ work has seen significant results across the continent, with clients from World of Wonder to Clever Leaves garnering digital and commercial success. Being the only LATAM agency spread across 15 countries, Sherlock Communications is in the best position to successfully strategise and implement extensive multi-territory campaigns.
The agency’s success in becoming the best in LATAM stems not only from their public relations expertise, but also comes from its work culture. Through creating an encouraging and friendly work environment, based around teamwork and personal responsibility, Sherlock Communications makes for a workplace that encourages innovation.
This is further made possible via the support Sherlock Communications offers to the further education of staff along with collaborating with study abroad programs. This culture based around community support even extends to Sherlock Communications’ pro-bono work and charitable donations, offering support to NGOs and charitable organisations across South America including Pimp My Carroça and Favela em Pauta.
Sherlock Communications’ campaign “expanding the World’s First Digital Residency to Brazil” with Estonia e-Residency was also highly commended in the public sector, and this award reflects such recognition. This campaign comes shortly after Estonia’s independence and comes as the country aims to become the most digitised nation in the world.
The campaign represents the expansion of their e-Residency program to Brazil, where the Estonian Government wanted to combine the power of PR and the news to maximise their outreach. This campaign saw huge success, attracting many professionals to consider the opportunities Estonia has to offer.
Sherlock Communication’s award is one of the most prestigious in the public relations sector and reflects our hard work and broad coverage, with a significant presence in Latin America, with four offices located in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, along with teams across Peru, Chile, Panama, and Guatemala.
We are incredibly proud of this recent win and look forward to many more in the future!
